Always nice to see a friendly face. Thank you for stopping by and reading my blog, it has helped me tremendously to write everything down that I’m going through. I sincerely hope this information will help others in similar situations get through this ‘speed bump’. I know I needed to slow down and smell the roses, so to speak.
I am the youngest of 5 children from an amazing and loving family. I work for the Ottawa School board with students with disabilities and I must say I have the best job in the world. I am so lucky to work with amazing group of people who I feel are as close to me as my friends and family. I am so fortunate to also have a fabulous, close knit group of friends that have helped me keep my spirits up and been with me every step of the way, Thank you everybody, you don’t know how much your love and support has touched me!
I love life and although this cancer is terrible and scary, it really has opened my eyes to what living is all about. I can’t wait to put this behind me but I never want to forget the lessons that it has taught me!

My name is Jacqueline Kinloch and I’m Michelle Pellerin’s cousin.
My sister Lisa Kinloch gave me the link to your blog. I’m so happy that she did because I’ve really enjoyed reading about your journey. I was diagnosed with breast cancer on Dec. 2nd, 2010. I just finished my radiation therapy last Wednesday.
I just wanted you to know that from your blog it appears that you’ve got a fantastic attitude – you’re a great writer and you have a wonderful sense of humour that is taking you through some very tough times.
I met a couple of young ladies diagnosed with cancer (one was 31 and the other 33) through a support group that I belonged to last January/February. The fertility issue is huge and it adds another dimension to everything else that you’re dealing with. You’re a positive thinker and I think you’ll have your family when the time is right, but right now take care of yourself and I wish you all the best with your remaining treatments and with “kicking cancer to the curb!”
